With more than 530 million speakers, Spanish is the fourth most spoken language in the world. Spoken on four continents, it is the official language of 21 countries. Spanish is therefore the 2nd most spoken language in terms of native speakers.
No wonder Spanish is one of the most taught foreign languages !
In tourism, commerce, health or tech, speaking Spanish is a top-ranking skill on a resume and at work. Many companies that collaborate with Latin America or Spain are looking for bilingual profiles or candidates who have a knowledge of Spanish.
Obviously useful for traveling, speaking Spanish is an asset for students on Erasmus exchanges and other international student exchange programs.
As for those who wish to settle in Spain or in Latin America, mastering the basics of the language will allow them to develop a social life more quickly.

An additional €20 administrative fee will be charged for the first enrolment and €35 will be charged for levels A0, A1 and A2 for the purchase of the student’s book.
In accordance with the Wallonia-Brussels Federation policy ( Ciculaire No. 7114 of 13/05/2019), non-EU students without a valid Belgian residence permit are subject to an additional registration fee of €90 per 120-hour module, with a maximum of €238/year.
Spanish program per level
This programme aims to strengthen both oral and written skills while developing smooth communication in everyday, personal, and professional situations.
Nivel basico (A1)
At the end of this module, students will be able to :
- Introduce themselves, present their families and relatives;
- Greet and take leave, thank and apologize.
- Fill in a simple form with personal information.
- Express agreement/disagreement/likes/preferences.
- Ask and answer simple questions.
- Write letters, simple forms.
- Situate themselves in time and space.
- Give and understand simple instructions.
- Understand short informal conversations.
- Formulate their opinions simply.
- Propose, welcome, invite.
- Make simple descriptions (people, places, objects).
Nivel elemental (A2)
At the end of this module, students will be able to:
- understand sentences and expressions frequently used in everyday life ;
- communicate to accomplish everyday tasks ;
- interact in a simple way and exchange information on familiar or usual subjects;
- describe in simple terms past events and express themselves on topics related to immediate needs.
Nivel intermedio bajo (B1.1)
At the end of this module, students will be able to:
- understand the main points of clear texts written in a standard language that
- deal with familiar matters, whether in work, study or leisure situations;
- speak and write in most situations that may arise during a trip to regions where the language is used;
- produce simple and coherent texts on familiar subjects or topics of personal interest ;
- describe present, past or future experiences and events;
- justify their opinions or explain their projects simply.
Nivel intermedio 1 (B1.2)
At the end of this module, students will be able to
- communicate with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers possible, despite reformulation ;
- express needs and give advice;
- express interests, preferences and feelings;
- talk about their habits in the present, their experiences in the past, their projects in the future;
- answer the phone, leave, take and forward messages;
- talk about their hobbies, their travel plans, the lifestyle and traditions of their homelands;
- give their opinions on various subjects.
